For as
long as I can remember, I have been passionate about books. As a kid, I would
indulge in every Indian comic around. So, I have had my share of Super Commando
Dhruv, Chacha Choudhary and Champak. Surprisingly,
I got introduced to Archies’ much later (I still pick them up once in a while).
Predictably,
I graduated to Enid Blyton’s Famous Five, Malory Towers and Secret Seven series
thereafter, and then there was no looking back. Agatha Christie, Sidney Sheldon,
John Grisham and hundreds from Mills and Boons series [yes, been there done
that :-)] gave me company through high school and college.
Anything
beyond Fiction looked intimidating to me back then. Only after I read ‘Maximum City’ by Suketu Mehta during my first year of professional life, it opened
doors to a whole new world of Non Fiction.
I also
have a huge fascination for books based on Mahabharata and Ramayana. They never
fail to amaze me over and over again.
And now, as if life has come a full circle, I have got the opportunity as a mother to explore the children's books genre. I am reading such amazing and gorgeous works which I never got the chance to read as a kid myself. There is so much to learn from them.

This

aim to use this platform to review books and recommend them, network with other
book lovers, share thoughts, share information related to Book Sale, Discounts,
Book stores, and anything pertaining to Books.
